A Year in Review: The Best of 2019
Updated: Jan 3, 2020
I believe that the best rooms have something to say about the people who live in them.
I believe that styles come and go...but that good design is a language, not a style.
I believe that less is more. Texture is essential. And a room isn't truly finished without a plant.
I believe that design can (and should) be as functional as it is beautiful.
I believe that there is beauty in reflecting on how far you have come.
And I believe that a goal should scare you a little, and excite you a lot.
So in my best efforts to channel my self reflection, I give you... M+B DESIGN: a year in review.
My VERY favorite projects from the year (nine, to be exact), all compiled into one blog post.

1 The Loft
If there was ever a time I wish I could SHOW you, it's this gallery wall.
2 The Modern Farmhouse Office
A simply stated design with the perfection touch of personalization
3 The Lake House
Where your daydreams take your heart every summer
4 The Rustic Glam Condo
Finding balance in barnwood + sparkle
5 The Neutral Bedroom
I loved watching the family heirlooms get new life in this project.
6 The Boho Basement
The goal for this room was to push past the feel of a basement. Mission accomplished!
7 My Office
A DIY feature wall brought this National Business Furniture to life!

8 The Shared Boys Room
I mean, COME. ON. It's like the cuteness just oozes from the photos.
This space delivered PURE JOY.
Whatever your goal is this next year... Wherever your dreams take you...
Remember to pause and take a moment to appreciate how far you've come.
CHEERS, TO BRINGING ON THE NEW DECADE!
